Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Gift cards and eVouchers Terms and Conditions
Gift cards and eVouchers can be redeemed online. Gift cards and eVouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of issue and cannot be exchanged for cash or used to pay any customer accounts. If exchanged for goods less than the value of the gift card, change will be issued back on to the gift card. If exchanged for goods less than the value of the eVoucher, change will be issued in the form of another eVoucher. Gift cards and eVouchers can only be redeemed once. Lost or stolen gift cards or eVouchers cannot be replaced. No refunds will be given on gift cards or eVouchers purchased.
Digital Content Terms and Conditions
- No returns or refunds on digital content
- As several variables can render digital content (including ebooks, .pdf and .epub files, audiobooks and .mp3 files) and the download links that serve such content (including .acsm files) problematic or defective; and given that it is not possible to return digital content or links for inspection; and therefore it is not possible to prove the existence or cause of any defect; alleged defects in digital content shall be treated as follows:
If you feel your digital content is defective in some way (missing pages, incorrect book, etc.), you must report the problem via email within 3 months of purchase.
We will attempt to render assistance in good faith, including liaising with the relevant service providers. However, no refunds shall be issued unless we determine that a refund would be appropriate.
In particular, it is unlikely that we will deem a refund appropriate if you have already downloaded the digital content. Consequently, if you believe an error has been made in your purchase (for example, you’ve accidentally ordered an ebook instead of a physical book), please report the problem to us without clicking any links to download the digital content.

- Limitations on replacement of digital content
- If, within 6 months after purchase of digital content by you (including ebooks and mp3 audiobooks), you have misplaced said content or lost it (for reasons including theft and /or replacement of devices hosting said content), you must report the problem via email.
If upon review of the situation we deems it appropriate to assist with the replacement of the digital content, we will attempt to render assistance in good faith, including liaising with the relevant service providers, to replace the content. However, we makes no warranty in this regard and there is no guarantee that said content will be replaced.
It should be stressed that this policy applies to the 6 months following the date of purchase, not the date of download or receipt/use of the digital content; and that after the 6 months from the date of purchase has expired, digital content will not be replaced under any circumstances.
To confirm, the Publisher of the content specifies the DRM information for each title when supplying the content to OverDrive. The Adobe DRM ensures that the information is applied to the eBook while the end-user has access to the content, and OverDrive communicates the information to retailers via the OverDrive Metadata Feed.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email and send your item.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail/courier your product to us.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
